Progress is kept in this browser while the page is open. If it is lost — you refreshed, or you are on another device — enter the last codeword HQ confirmed and every case file up to it unlocks again.

A codeword is the word you reported to HQ at the end of a case file. Nothing else is stored — no names, no answers, nothing personal.

The backstory

Captain Copilot vs Admiral Analogue

  1. 01

    The Tip-Off

Something is up. Nobody knows what.

A planning application refused fourteen times. A bin lorry reporting that the ground hums. Four hundred boxes of carbon paper left on a neighbour’s doorstep by a driver who couldn’t find the door to “the flat in the basement”. There is no flat in the basement. HQ knows the Admiral is up to something.

  2. 02

    The Admiral

    Progress requires prior approval.

HQ has known of the Admiral for years. He distrusts AI and adores paperwork, process and a properly countersigned form. His Department of Adjustments runs thirteen sub-levels beneath Fathom House; the stationers upstairs, Triplicate & Co., think he is Facilities.

  3. 03

    The Evidence

One box. Six files. No explanation.

Agent Quill recovered a box of paperwork from the bins round the back of Fathom House before being put on hold. HQ faces a mountain of documents; only Copilot can get through them before whatever is happening happens.

  4. 04

    The Assignment

Find the plan. Stop the plan.

Analyst, you are Captain Copilot's partner at HQ. He works the field; you work the files. Use Microsoft 365 Copilot in the Office applications to solve the puzzles, uncover the plan and stop the Admiral.
